Tater tot casseroles

Who doesn’t love tater tots? Here are a couple of options for a slightly healthier tater tot casserole that can still please the family, while getting in more nutrition than the super-creamy version.Chili Tater Tot Casserole1 lb. lean ground beef1 small onion, diced1/2 teaspoon salt1 (10.5 oz.) can tomato soup1 Tablespoon chili powder1 (16 oz.) can whole kernel corn or frozen corn1 lb. frozen tater totsShredded cheese to tasteBrown ground turkey and onion in skillet. Add salt, soup, and chili powder. Pour into large casserole dish and layer with corn and tater tots. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes or until cooked through. During the last few minutes of cooking, top with shredded cheese and bake until cheese is melted and browned.I am a big fan of green bean casserole, and this is very similar!TATER TOT - GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE 1 lb ground beef1 small onion, diced2 cans French cut green beans, well drained1 can cream soup (use your favorite- low sodium or fat free versions are actually pretty good!)1 32 oz. bag onion tater tots, thawed12 oz sharp Cheddar cheesePreheat oven to 350°F. Brown ground beef with onion and drain. Mix with green beans and soup and spread in a greased 9X13-inch casserole.
