The Mason Lions Club met Tuesday, April 12th, for its regular weekly luncheon meeting. There were 27 members and two visitors in attendance. Lion Bruce Lehmberg was responsible for the program and he shared some interesting trivia about the U. S. Presidents. This trivia ranged from the tallest and shortest to the ones that were ancestors to earlier presidents, some with kinfolks on both sides of the family. The program was very interesting and Bruce presented the "facts" well. The club's next meeting will be held Tuesday, April 19th, at noon at Zavala's. The program chairman will be Mark Lehmberg. The Mason Lions has an ongoing program to recycle used eyeglasses to people who need them. Used eyeglasses may be given to any Lion or left in collection boxes at any of the local banks. Also, please contact any Mason Lion if you know of anyone in our community unable to afford appropriate eye care.
