Puncher Band Takes Awards

The Mason High School band traveled to Llano last Thursday to compete in concert and sight reading competition. The band performed well and received three first division ratings on stage and three first division ratings in sight reading. Judges were very complimentary, one stated that our band was the best he had heard that day. These scores combined with our first division prize in marching awards the band a sweepstakes trophy for the year.The Mason Junior High band also competed on Thursday, they performed well receiving three second division ratings on stage and three first division ratings in sight reading. The Junior High band was awarded a sight reading plaque for their achievement.
