Mason National Bank Promotes Connie Stockbridge

Mason National Bank Chairman, George Brannies, and President, Thom Canfield, proudly announced last week that Connie Stockbridge has been named Senior Loan Officer and Executive Vice President; and, has been elected to the bank’s Board of Directors.

Connie Gamel began her distinguished career at the bank in 1972, shortly before her marriage to her high school sweetheart, Randy Stockbridge. She was named Compliance Officer in 1978 and served in that capacity until 2010. In 1989 she was promoted to Vice President and was named Senior Vice President in 2003.

Thom Canfield adds that "Connie is one of the hardest working, most dedicated professionals I’ve ever known. She is a proven leader within the bank and has served in numerous volunteer roles in the community over the years, as well as a three-year term as Mayor of the City of Mason. I’m extremely proud of Connie and the way she and our entire staff serve the financial needs of our community."

Mason National Bank Chairman, George Brannies, noted that the Board of Directors is very pleased to announce the promotion of Connie Stockbridge to Executive Vice President, and to welcome her to the Board of Directors. In making the announcement Board Chairman George Brannies stated, "This is a very well deserved promotion and appropriate recognition of her 39 years of service to the bank and her customers. The Mason National Bank is most fortunate to have someone as dedicated and smart as Connie Stockbridge in this important position. Her work ethic and dedication is greatly appreciated and admired by all our directors and staff."

Connie has always remained active in community affairs, having served as past president of the Mason County Chamber of Commerce, Mason Housing Authority and Alpha Beta Psi. She has also been a board member and officer for Mason County Appraisal District, Comanche Creek Golf Association and the Foundation of the First United Methodist Church. Stockbridge is also actively involved with the mentoring program at Mason ISD. She was on the City Council for six years, with three of those as Mayor.

Connie is a member of the First United Methodist Church. She and her husband, Randy, have two children, Leslie Becker and husband Travis and Dewey Stockbridge. Connie is also "CiCi" to her granddaughter, Aubrey Joy Becker.

Her hobbies include hunting, fishing, gardening and golf.

Connie joins Thom Canfield, Amy Capps, Charles Pluenneke, Ray Geistweidt, and George Brannies as members of the Board.
