Wednesday, May 4, 2011 • Posted May 4, 2011

Parents and community members are invited to join Mason High School for a Blue Ribbon School Celebration Friday, May 6th from 11:20-3:30.

Festivities will begin in the High School Auditorium at 11:20, with an opening address from Mason High School Principal Chris Habecker. Students will then team up with Mayor Brent Hinckley, Judge Jerry Bearden, and attorney Shain Chapman for a game of "Are you smarter than a Mason High School student." Afterward, there will be a hamburger lunch in the Ag shop for $5. The celebration will conclude at the high school track with FREE ice cream and field day activities.

Mason High School is one of only three public high schools in Texas to receive the National Blue Ribbon School designation. This honor is based on our students’ high performance scores on state accountability tests. Mason ISD attributes this success to the effort of elementary, junior high, and high school students and staff as well as support from parents and the community. Thank you for your continued support. Please join us for the fun!!
