Hill Country Cattlewomen Meeting May 17th

The Hill Country CattleWomen will be holding their May meeting in Fredericksburg on Tuesday, May 17th at the Inn on Barron’s Creek in the Walch Conference Center. The location of the Inn on Barron’s Creek is two blocks south of Main St. (Hwy. 87) at 308 S. Washington Street. We will begin with coffee and registration at 10A.M. with the meeting beginning at 10:30AM and the cost of $17.00. Our program will be presented by Carl Galant who is with McGinnis, Lochridge & Kilgore, LLP. and will be speaking on current issues concerning our groundwater, court cases, and state legislation in the 2011 session. We would be delighted to have husbands and other interested guest join us at our meeting.

We will be hearing reports from the very successful 27th Annual Style Show and Luncheon held on April 19th in Kerrville which benefits our scholarship fund. Thanks to all the area businesses who generously donate and underwrite our luncheon, we are able to give assist many of our area students in their education.
