Mike Blakely’s Fandango Set for May 13-14 in Llano
Festival Showcases Texas Songwriters and Authors

LLANO, Texas — Calling all music lovers and book worms: Mike Blakely’s 9th Annual TexAmericana Fandango will be held May 13-14 at Robinson Park in Llano, Texas, on the banks of the Llano River.

This music and book festival highlights some of the best singer/songwriters in Texas along with Texas authors of fine books.

This year’s musical line-up includes: Davin James & The Bullnettle Band, Josh Grider, Adam Carroll, Susan Gibson, Walt & Tina Wilkins, Chris Wall, Mike Siler, Jake Martin, Kylie Rae Harris, john Arthur martinez, John Greenberg, Jeff "Wildhorse" Posey, Rodney Hayden, Casey Hubble Band, Duke Davis and Buckshot, The WC Jameson Band, John Fullbright, Courtney Reed, and Mike Blakely & The Whiskey Traders!

Musical acts will perform from 5 p.m. to midnight on Friday and from 1 p.m. to midnight on Saturday.

Authors Susan Rogers Cooper, Jan Grape, WC Jameson and Mike Blakely will be on hand to sign and sell books as well as visit with attendees from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday, May 14.

The festival location is Llano River Golf and RV Resort – www.llanorivergolfcourse.com – 325-247-5100 – located 1.5 miles west of the Llano courthouse on Ranch Road 152. Camping is optional but encouraged for this BYOB (no glass) event. No pets, please.

Wristband prices for the weekend are as follows:

Friday, May 13 - $15.00

Saturday, May 14 - $20.00

Weekend pass - $30.00 (save $5!)

Tickets can be purchased by calling the Llano Chamber of Commerce at 325-247-5354 for no additional fee or by visiting www.outhousetickets.com ($2.60 service fee per ticket).

There are acres and acres available to campers – first-come-first-served. Simply pay your camping fee when you arrive. All the RV slips with hookups have been taken, but there is still plenty of room for RVs. No need to make a reservation. Just show up and organizers will show you where to park. Camping is only $5.00 per night per person whether you bring your tent, motor home, trailer, covered wagon, or tipi.

An 18-hole golf scramble benefitting military nonprofits will be held at Llano Rivery Golf Course on Friday, May 13, at 10 a.m. E-mail annieblakely@ymail.com to sign up.
