Riata Luncheon
Wednesday, May 18, 2011 • Posted May 18, 2011

The annaul Riata Luncheon was held Wednesday, May 11th, at the First Baptist Church. The guests were greeted at the door by Riata honory members (members who have 30 years or more of service). Each guest chose which beautifully decorated table she wanted to dine at. A menu of southwest quiche, corn, avocado, tomato salad, tri-color slaw and spring breeze cheesecake for dessert was served. Students from the Grace Christian School helped with the serving, and their help was greatly appreciated. The program of music was directed by Dawn Hahn. The three sisters who sang songs from the Sound of Music were cute and vibrant, Austin Priess' piano renditions were wonderful, and the third grade students' patriotic songs were sung with exuberance.President, Pat Tucker, drew the tickets for the door prizes.Hats off to the Civic members for all their hard work in making this luncheon a success.
