VFW Post 8554 Celebrates Flag Day, June 14th

The VFW Post 8554 will be observing Flag Day at the post, on Post Hill street behind the jail on Saturday, June 14th, 3:00 - 7:00 p.m.At this time we will be collecting old flags for decommissioning at a later date. Due to the drought and burn ban, flags will not be decommissioned at this time. Members will be on hand to pass out flag exhibition information and to answer questions anyone may have. Demonstrations will be available to those wanting more information. We invite any and all to come down visit and get involved in honoring our National flag.For information concerning VFW Post 8554, please contact Lawrence Spell, Post Commander, 429-6224.
