Predator Control Program Llano County July 26th

The Texas AgriLife Extension Service, Llano County, will be holding a Predator Control Program on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Valley Spring Community Center. A representative from the Texas Department of Agriculture will present a program on disease considerations that predators present to domestic livestock and humans. Tom Glasscock will present a trapping program at the Smathers Ranch with an actual size hog trap and will also set snares. Tom is an ex-government trapper who is an expert at trapping all types of predators and travels all over Texas helping ranchers with their predator control.

Three (3) general continuing education units will be offered to people who have a pesticide applicators license.

Call the Texas AgriLife Extension office in Llano at 325-247-5159 to RSVP. There will be a $15.00 fee to attend if you call in on or before July 25th. There will be a $20.00 fee at the door without RSVP. Drinks and refreshments will be provided.
