Grace Christian School Set to Begin 25th Year
Wednesday, August 3, 2011 • Posted August 3, 2011

On August 17th 2011, Grace Christian School will begin its twenty-fifth year of operation. In 1982 a group of Christians in the Mason community were moved by God to provide a place for children to be educated according to Biblical principles. These parents committed their time and energies to Christian education for their own children and the children of others who shared their concerns. Established and operated originally by Grace Fellowship Church, Grace Christian School is now an integral and inseparable part of the ministry of Mason Community Church. It is the conviction of Mason Community Church that the responsibility of teaching our children is given by the Lord to the child’s parents and then to the church to supplement the parents’ efforts. The goal of the school is to be able to say of its students: “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.”The school offers education in grades K-12, with a faculty consisting of a principal, a coordinator, teachers, parents, friends and grandparents. Most of these freely volunteer their time and talents for the kingdom of God. Over the years the student body has represented a dozen or more churches in the community and surrounding towns. Applications are currently being received by the school. For more information, please call (325) 347-5417 or (325) 347-2337.
