What– The Virtual Dementia Tour (VDT) is a scientifically proven method designed to build sensitivity & awareness in individuals caring for those with dementia. VDT is a dementia simulation tool created for anyone seeking to understand the physical & mental challenges of those with dementia. (Second Wind Dreams, P.K. Beville, M.S. Founder) Dementia is is a general term that describes a group of symptoms, such as loss of memory, judgment, language, complex motor skills, and other impaired intellectual functions.
