I am very pleased to report that the delibrate attempt to sow malicious seeds of discord in the minds of the Mason County Citizens and sabotage the meeting aforehand didn't work. Terms like fear mongering and ysteria are foreign to us here in Mason. Stuff like this is usually from Washington, D.C. The large crowd at the Eckert Civic Center (8-11-11) were the solid citizens of Mason County: Men and women ranchers, farmers, business people and countless Veterans from WWII to date - of which I am a proud one. Their were parents there who have their children serving their country overseas presently. All of these folks are people who have spent their lives building Mason County. They have years and years of wisdom and sound reasoning. Died in the wool true Americans. For anyone to insult and belittle their intelligence and try to influence us with their propaganda is down right disgraceful. What we learned about Muslims roots to date was historical - not opinion - and very informative.God Bless AmericaBoone Kempp.s. - My sixteen year old great-grandson, Elijah Dickinson, led the people in the pledge of allegiance to the flag of the United States, and of Texas.
