The Purpose of Al-Anon

Help

To help families and friends of alcoholics recover from the effects of living with the problem drinking of a relative or friend.

Our program of recovery is adapted from Alcoholics Anonymous and is based upon the Twelve Steps, Twelve Traditions, and Twelve Concepts of Service.

The only requirement for membership is that there be a problem of alcoholism in a relative or friend.

Al-Anon is not affiliated with any other organization or outside entity.

Mutual Support

Whether the alcoholic is still drinking or not, Al-Anon offers hope and recovery to all people affected by the alcoholism of a loved one or friend.

Confidential

Your inquiry is confidential and anonymous. Al-Anon meets each Tuesday, 6:00 p.m. in the East Room at the Historical Building. For more information, call 325-347-5805 or 325-258-4441.
