The Mason County Soil and Water Conservation District is sponsoring a “Billy Bingo” contest during Mason County Roundup. The playing area consists of a fenced-in area large enough to contain 100 two-foot squares. The squares are numbered and sold to contestants for $10.00. Then a goat will be placed inside the arena. Everyone waits outside the fence to let nature take its course.

Whichever square or squares he messes up wins the pot. If the pellets hit two or more squares the pot is split. You never know what will happen in this contest. At $10.00 per square, $1000 is raised. One half goes to the winners and the remaining $500 is retained by the Mason County SWCD. Proceeds go to fund conservation projects in the District.

In the Billy Bingo arena all goat pills are counted at the end of the first deposit and divided into $500 if more than one square is involved. Each person with pellets in his square will receive all or part of the prize.

You do not have to be present to win.

As soon as all 100 squares are sold, we will draw for your square. No more than 100 squares will be sold. As soon as all 100 squares are sold, we will draw for your square, assign the number(s), and post a list of names and numbers at the event.
