Wednesday, August 24, 2011 • Posted August 24, 2011

The Mason 4-H Club is reminding all exhibitors that want to show sheep or meat goats in any major show in 2012, to get in the number of validation tags that they will need. We need a count for all exhibits by August 26, 2011. The order for these state tags must be in the State office by September 2, 2011. The cost of each tag is $8.50. You may contact the County Extension Office at 347-6459.Also, to any 4-H member that has not renewed their enrollment in the 4-H Club, they must do this quickly. A fee of $20.00 per member is now needed to join 4-H. The price of enrollment will go up to $25.00 per member after October 31. Any child that wants to show an animal in the 2012 Mason County Livestock Show, must be a member of either 4-H or FFA. Our office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon, Monday through Friday.
