Sand Plant Meeting at Peter's Prairie September 4th
Wednesday, August 24, 2011 • Posted August 24, 2011

There is mounting interest in opposing the Katemcy Sand Plant. It has been decided it is a good idea to have a meeting to discuss the application for Proppant Specialists’ Air Permit, share information about frac sand plants, and develop a plan of opposition to confront the situation within the time frames laid out by Proppant’s permitting processes. The meeting will be at the Peter’s Prairie Schoolhouse on Sunday afternoon, September 4th at 2:30 P.M. If you have reason to oppose the sand plant, feel free to come to the meeting to learn what you can about the issues at hand. We are working on an email distribution list. If you have anyone you think should be contacted and included, get the information to Julie Nobles or Gerald Gamel so that they can be added to the list of interested persons. If you’re on this list and want off, we understand completely, feel free to email either of us and let us know. Contact Julie Nobles at or Gerald Gamel at .
