Reid Branson Geistweidt Graduates Fredericksburg High School

Reid Branson Geistweidt graduated from Fredericksburg High School on June 3, 2011.While at Fredericksburg High School, Reid was active in football and was Academic All District his junior and senior years, and, was Academic All State Football 1st Team his senior year.Reid was also active in basketball and was Academic All District his junior and senior years, and was Academic All State Basketball his senior year. In addition, Reid received post season honors in basketball, earning Honorable Mention All District his junior and senior years. The Fredericksburg Battlin' Billies basketball team were the Area Finalist his junior year, and Regional Quarterfinalist his senior year.Reid is a member of the National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Business Professionals of America and the Junior Engineering Society, serving as treasurer his senior year. Reid was active in the Fredericksburg High School STEM Academy and Ignite Program, performing research for rocket proponents, physics and specific mathematics.Reid graduated fourth in his class of 218 students. He was a Regional Runner-Up and State Qualifier for Business Professionals of America, and received Advanced Placement Scholar recognition. He is accepted and committed to Texas A&M University of College Station and will enroll in the Mays School of Business in the fall of 2011.Reid is the son of Dale and Kalyn Geistweidt, and grandson of Norma Geistweidt and Mary K. Draper.
