Heart of Texas County Music Museum Hosts Album Release Party for Johnny Bush

The Heart of Texas Country Music Museum is hosting an album release party for Texas Country Music Hall of Famer Johnny Bush on Saturday, September 3. The party will be to celebrate the release of his latest CD titled “Who’ll Buy My Memories?” The event is open to the public and will be held from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM.“Who’ll Buy My Memories?” is a sixteen song project. Bush re-recorded a few of his hit recordings from the past including “Loud Music And Strong Wine” “The Devil’s Disciple” and “Genuine Healer Of Time.” He tackles some new songs with “If I Were Me” “When Loving Me Was Wrong” “My Next Bottle Of Wine” and “I’ve Come Back To Say I Love You One More Time.” Jim Ed Brown lends his vocals to a duet on “Pop A Top” and then Bush includes some standards in “Drinking Champagne” “I’ve Got A New Heartache” “Death In The Family” “Conscience I’m Guilty” and “Hell Stays Open All Night Long.”“I can not tell you how pleased we are with Johnny’s new project,” producer Justin Trevino said. “I think the album sounds incredible and John did a tremendous job in the studio.”Bush will be autographing copies of “Who’ll Buy My Memories” along with his autobiography “Whiskey River Take My Mind” published by the University of Texas Press.
