Starving Artists Show Around Square on Saturday, September 25

Artists, musicians, and writers will set up around the square in Mason on Saturday, September 24, to tout their wares, sell their paintings and books, and sing their songs, from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Area artists will set up on the sidewalks of Mason Square, in front of the shops. Among the popular artists who are displaying works, will be Sue Kaan, whose paintings of animals, cactus, and Hill Country landscapes are in much demand. Jeweler Nan Loeffler will be on hand with her amusing and delightful creations.In previous years the Starving Artists Show took place on the last Saturday in October. This year the event was moved to September to coincide with the Gem of the Hill Country Five and Ten K Run, which starts earlier the same morning.For further information, contact Nancy Sterling, 325-347-0580.
