Fine Arts Association of the Hill Country members began the new year with a pot luck luncheon and a look at their new 2011-2012 yearbook. The next event for the organization will be a Creative Session, “Get Back Into the Art Groove-All Media Welcome” at the Mason Eckert Civic Center from 10 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. on Saturday September 17th. This will be an opportunity to bring any materials you have been working with or would like to start using and share your ideas with others. Mason, McCulloch, Menard and Kimble county students in grades 9-12 who are interested in art are invited to come to these creative sessions and future programs free of charge. Detailed information on these activities will be posted in your local paper.
