On Saturday, September 24th, The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center will host “Doing the Right Thing,” a special event via webcast featuring Chuck Colson. The program will explore the ethical crisis in our nation and how we, as a society can do what is right even in the face of powerful temptations and incentive to do what is wrong. A panel of distinguished speakers including Dr. Del Tackett, Dr. Robert George, Michael Miller, and John Stonestreet will join Colson. Eric Metaxas will moderate the discussion. Panel discussions will include such topics as the roots of moral authority, a return to virtuous living, and ethics in the marketplace and public life. The event will take place from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm at the Kroc Center with lunch provided after the webcast. The public is invited to attend and there is no admission cost. For more information and to RSVP, please call Mark Cole at 830-997-0249.
