Eeeeeee HAAA.Ki-yi-yippity-i-ay.Fall has fallen.So long, September.Look out, October.Here we come.Set us free.We’re your tired, your suffering…Your hot, huddled masses… Yearning for rain.Have mercy on us.Drop into the 80s already.C’mon.Be a sport.Be October.Not an August wannabe. Not summer.Not hot.Not dry.October.Remember cool nights.Pleasantly warm days.Cool breezes.Rain.As in, R-A-I-N.Snap out of it.Perform your duty.Cool us down.Color the leaves.Dazzle us.We’re your biggest fans.You’re our favorite month.A favorite time of year.That should mean something.We’re waiting.Ever hopeful.Don’t make us draw a line in the sand.Literally.It’s been so dry that’s all we got.Don’t disappoint us.We don’t want to get ugly.Just show us your stuff.Break this dry spell.Be our hero.Make us proud.Make us put on a raincoat.We dare ya.That’s Mason.
