As you visit Super S Foods, the Mason Courthouse Square and other locations over the next few weeks, you’ll see representatives of The American Legion Fort Mason Post 285 displaying the Fall Fundraiser prize and taking donations for raffle tickets. This year’s raffle prize is a Remington .270 Bolt Action Rifle with a Bushnell 3x9 – 40mm scope. Raffle tickets are $3.00 each or 4 tickets for $10. A portion of the proceeds from this raffle will be used to support Mason County’s local Wounded Warriors Hunting Program. The raffle drawing will be held on Thursday, Dec. 8th, at The American Legion Post Hall, 237 Post Hill Road (behind the Jail), time TBA. You do NOT have to be present at the drawing to win the raffle prize. Thank you to all the folks who have already made donations and many thanks to the Mason County family for their generous support of local veterans. The American Legion is a 501C (19) organization and donations are tax deductible. For more information on the programs of The American Legion, please contact Lawrence Spell, 429-6224, or Mike Shanley, 347-9016.
