Hill Country Cattlewomen

The Hill Country Cattle Women held their September meetings in Fredericksburg at the Farm Bureau Building. In lieu of a guest speaker, election of officers were held. The officers for the coming year are: Nelda Sharringhausen, President; Dianne Staudt, 1st Vice-President; Deborah Wardlaw, 2nd Vice-President; Cindy Zenner, 3rd Vice-President; Clarice Stauble, 4th Vice-President; Peggy Matli, Recording Secretary; Mary Jane Morrison, Corresponding Secretary; and, Janis Stiefel and Vicki Miller, Co-Treasurers. After a long hot summer, members enjoyed the opportunity to visit.The October 18, 2011 meeting will be hosted by the Kerrville-area women, in Kerrville at The Rail. It is located at the Depot, 615 Schreiner St. Cost of the meal is $16. Dan Hatfield will be speaking to us about the effects of the drought, real estate values and Austin politics.Deadline for reservations are October 11, 2011. Please contact your reservation chairman.
