Mason Garden Club to Meet

The Mason Garden Club will hold its meeting on Tuesday, October 18, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. in the Mason County M. Beven Eckert Memorial Library Stribling Room, located at 410 Post Hill. The program will be "Growing and Using Herbs," presented by Sherie Clarkson, owner of Ye Olde Thyme Herb Shoppe.The first meeting of the Mason Garden Club was held on September 20, 2011. A program given by Bill Luedecke, well-known garden writer and speaker, was enjoyed by the group. Enough interest was shown to organize a garden club that will continue to meet at the library. The garden club is open to anyone interested in gardening and does not matter whether you actually garden or not.The club will be discussing upcoming programs and field trips, tentative projects and the details for forming an official club.
