Puncher Band
The Tradition Continues

The Mason High School Puncher Band brought home a first division marching trophy after competing October 22 at the University Interscholastic League (UIL) Region 7 marching contest held in the Brady ISD Football Stadium.The band, under the direction of Directors Pat Ruiz and John Tapley, performed music from the video game “World of Warcraft” arranged by Mike Story. This rating allows the band to perform at UIL Area competition in Groesbeck on Saturday October 29th. The band will be performing for preliminary competition just after noon at the Groesbeck football stadium. This is the third trip to Area competition the band has made in the past five years and the fifth consecutive first division for the Mason High School Marching Band.
