"Pile-On" For Camp
Wednesday, October 26, 2011 • Posted October 26, 2011

The First United Methodist Church of Mason helped send 29 children Grades 3 through High School to Church Camp at Mt. Wesley in Kerrville last summer. The purpose of each camp is to reach out to youth and bring them closer to Christ. They do this through exciting worship experiences with popular Christian bands, engaging speakers, energizing small groups, and extreme fun in a Christ-filled environment. To help ease the high cost of camp, the church will host a Mexican Pile-On Lunch this coming Sunday, October 30, at noon in the church Social Hall. Come join us for a delicious meal and help support these children.Summer Church Camp is a wonderful place for making lasting friendships, learning about the Bible, and growing closer to God. Be a part of continuing to provide these children with a solid Christian foundation that will last them a lifetime.
