Library Auctioning Gipson's Desk on Friday, July 11th
Wednesday, July 9, 2008 • Posted July 9, 2008

Friends of the Library would like to remind everyone about the Historic Personal Desk of Old Yeller author Fred Gipson offered at a silent auction until Friday at 6:00 p.m. at the Mason County Library. Included with the desk is an original letter of authenticity from T. Beck Gipson, son of Fred Gipson. The winners will be announced on Saturday during the Roundup festivities on the Courthouse square. The desk and bid sheets are at the library.

Also, go by the library and place an order for an engraved brick. Friends of the library will turn in our brick orders the first of August.

Proceeds from the desk and brick orders benefit Friends of the Library and are greatly appreciated.
