Mason's Emergency Notification Service

As a reflection of our school’s commitment to fostering a safer, more secure learning environment, we are proud to introduce our new program ‘Talk About It’.Developed by AnComm, ‘Talk About It’ is the nation’s first and only anonymous text, email messaging, and emergency notification service for schools. ‘Talk About It’ is a preventative solution focused on Connecting Students and School Officials to Create Healthy School Climates! This service has many important benefits for our school. I am going to explain two of those benefits. First, this service provides emergency alert notifications to students, staff and parents when critical information needs to be shared instantly. The alerts come in the form of text messages and/or email messages. To receive Emergency Alerts about School Closings, Weather, and other school notifications please go to our school’s Ancomm (Talk About It Logo on right side of page) page, there is a link located on our Mason Jr. High website (www.masonisd.net/mjhs). Then go to “Click Here to begin receiving Emergency Alerts Messages” (towards the bottom, left-hand side of the page). You can also type in https://login.ancomm.com/masonisd/ , and then go to the “click here” link on the bottom left-hand side of the page. The second benefit of this program is that our students can anonymously report/write the administrators of their campus about anything they have concerns about. When we receive messages from our students we do not know who is writing unless they want us to know.
