Veterans Day Ceremony This Friday

Veterans Day, Friday, Nov. 11, 2011, will be celebrated with a Veterans Day Ceremony and Rifle Salute, sponsored by The American Legion Fort Mason Post 285 and VFW Post 8554. The ceremony will take place at the Mason County Veterans Memorial on the Courthouse lawn, beginning at 11:30 am and including patriotic songs, recognition of currently serving military personnel and a 21-gun salute. The American Legion and the VFW invite all veterans, military personnel home on leave, family members, and the general public to attend this important ceremony honoring Mason’s veterans, past and present.
