We all know that Mason is the “Gem of the Hill Country”, but what you all may not know is that Nancy Scholibo is the gem of the library. Nancy and I have melded into a truly collaborative team. From picking fabric for new furniture to moving books, she has been involved in every step of the planning and implementation for the Tocker grant, and her honesty, insight, and experience are invaluable to every project. Often working behind the scenes, some people probably don’t know how dedicated she is to serving our patrons or how often she goes over and beyond what’s expected to keep the library running smoothly. Next time you come in, be sure to tell her that you appreciate what she does as much as I do.NEW ARRIVALS: (All quotes are from publishers’ summaries)DVDsSpooky BuddiesWeather GirlThe Lion King (new 2-disc diamond edition)Water for ElephantsAUDIOBOOKS:Wish You Well by David Baldacci (CD F BAL)YOUNG ADULT: The Lying Game by Sara Shepard (YA SHE LG.1)“What if you had a long-lost twin?
