"Beyond" - Far Out - Compelled to Respond

In the movie "True Grit" John Wayne said of an individual: quote "That person is the one only one I know who can start at the bottom and go lower."Governor Rick Perry has led the Texas economy to where it is the envy of the Nation. But more than that he is a highly trained and skilled military man - prepared to defend us. He didn't get to where he is by not knowing which way the wind blows. When someone starts making belittling remarks about our military personnel - altho addressed to one in particular - you are still speaking of and about every military individual who has served America since the Revolutionary war to date - of which I am one.Shamefully unpatriot: Mason County is saturated with us and those serving presently. Don't tread on us.In World War II we had Admiral Nimitz, General Douglas McArthur, General Patton, General Isenhauer - Great leaders - to name only a few. These Great American Military Leaders gave necessary orders which were carried out to accomplish our victory for the United States of America.I served aboard a "Destroyer" in the Pacific up to Okinawa where we faced a new type of warfare, The deadly Kamakize plane. There we didn't have any "misfits" - who came home with a chip on their shoulder. If orders were not issued and carried out together - as they were then - you could be speaking Japanese today instead of English.I proudly served thru out WW II, in Korean waters aboard the U.S.S. Saratoga CVA-60 (a super aircraft carrier) off of Cuba in the early 1960 when the Russian ships brought in the missiles (that they didn't bring in) resulting in Cuba going communist - and "My" boots were on the ground (1968-1969) in Viet Nam.I've been there - I speak on fact not opinions.Myself, and others, are aware of "Snow Jobs" - sorry, they won't fly here. Probably Washington DC tho.

God Bless America
