The Puncher 8th Grade Boys took on the visiting team from Center Point this past Monday evening. Mason jumped out ahead quickly in the contest and taxed the visitors heavily in the first period. The Punchers’ press held Center Point to only two points while Mason put nineteen points on the board. The second period was pretty much a repeat with the Punchers scoring ten points to Center Point’s two. The Punchers continued on in the second half out scoring their opponent seven to four.Hudson, Gilley, and Hofmann lead their team in rebounds, while Bibb, Hudson, and Parker lead in steals and assists. Good defense was played by everyone. After a well deserved Thanksgiving break, the Punchers will travel to Hunt on the 28th for a 5:00 tip-off. The 8th Grade Punchers would like to wish everyone an enjoyable Thanksgiving and would like to especially express their thankfulness to all our service men and women who give so much. We are reminded that they all give, and some give all. 1st 2nd 3rd 4th TotalMason 19 10 7 0 36 Parker 5 Hofmann 4C. Point 2 2 0 4 8 Hudson 20 Bibb 7
