What is this Happy Holidays in our small town? Are we too busy to say Merry Christmas? I don’t go with Merry Xmas. My Lord is not an X in my life. He is King of kings and Lord of Lords so I feel that we should respect the fact that Jesus is the reason for the season and He should be honored enough to see His name in our wishes. (Not that of other nations) It takes only five more letters to spell Christmas as it does to spell Xmas and one less for Holidays. Come on Mason give Christ the honor. Those who are offended don’t have to look. Also we need more than just lights in town. Where are the usual decorations that we had a short time ago? Don’t the City workers get paid whether or not they are actually working or just waiting for something to come up? Where is the Christmas Spirit that some of us would like to see? It is offensive to us, seeing the lack of enthusiasm. Come on Christians, stand up for our Savior and spell it out. I am not ashamed of my Lord Jesus Christ. I am thankful that God sent Him into the world, giving us a chance for Salvation and escaping Hell....MERRY CHRISTMAS.
