Mason County Livestock Show Approaches

Livestock has always been a big part of Mason County as the picture taken of 4-Hers in the 1920’s shows. The 87th Mason County Livestock Show will be held January 6 & 7. On Friday, January 7th beginning at 9:00 a.m. the market lambs will start the county show, followed by Angora goats and then meat goats. The hog show will begin Saturday at 8:00 a.m. followed by the cattle show at 11:00 a.m. A concession stand will be available on both days during the show. Beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday the annual dinner followed by the premium sale at approximately 6:30 p.m. The dinner is a community wide event and all the 4-H and FFA exhibitors hope to see you there.
