Calling All Quilters!
Wednesday, January 4, 2012 • Posted January 4, 2012

The Mason and Kimble county quilters meet in the lobby of the River of Life Church on the first and third Mondays of every month from 12:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. The meetings begin with show and tell which generates lots of questions and comments. Then, hand work and/or machine work commences. The women share stories of visits to quilt shops, interesting articles on the web or in publication and share new techniques. They take day trips to quilt shops for classes and shopping. These women welcome visitors of all skill levels whether novice or experienced. If you have always wanted to learn to quilt, this is the place to be. They also enjoy viewing contemporary and antique quilts. If you own a quilt which puzzles you or gives you great pride, bring it in. If you have questions, call Elizabeth Evans at 265-4315. The next meeting will be January 16th.
