Punchers are a Class Act
Letter to the Editor

Dear Pam (Kruse);

Having graduated from a Dallas high school in the ‘60’s I’ve always followed Texas high school football even after we moved to the Knoxville, TN area in 1987.We have OK h.s. football here but nothing like good ole Texas high school football which I follow on FOX Sports Southwest which I receive via satellite tv.I recorded The Punchers’ state championship game over a week ago and just this evening got a chance to watch the game and the post-game presentations and interviews.You need to know how impressive everyone associated with Mason (I deer hunted down there as a teenager) came across on tv. Such class, from the youngest fan to your head coach. I know you couldn’t be prouder. Your community, obviously appreciates what it has accomplished. Mason folks seem to have kept things in perspective and don’t get carried away with themselves. It’s so refreshing to see and hear people representing an entire community collectively act with such class. Please pass on my congratulations to not just the football team and coaching staff but the entire Mason community for your state championship but, most of all for being a wonderful example of a community of folks who seem to earnestly enjoy each other and appreciate life as lived in Mason.Must be a great place to live.

May God Continue To Bless You All,

Jim Frazee
