Autrey-Dockal Vows Exchanged

Tana Campbell Dockal and William Cody Autrey were united in marriage in an afternoon ceremony September 24, 2011 at First United Methodist Church in Mason, Texas. Pastor Tim Farenthold performed the double ring ceremony and special scripture readings and comments were made by the bride’s grandfather Reverend Dennie Jackson and first cousin Jennifer Moran. Given in marriage by her parents, the bride was attired in an A-line, strapless, soft shimmer satin gown with a sweetheart neckline and corset closure by Maggie Soterro. The asymmetrically wrapped waist was accented with a handmade Swarovski crystal belt and beaded motifs at the right hip and back closure. The bustled skirt featured a gathered inset panel and finished with a plush balloon hem. Her fingertip length veil was embellished with double sided Swarovski stones and she carried a hand tied bouquet of white roses, embellished with crystals and olive green ribbon. Serving as bridal attendants were Salah Smith, Melissa Herring, Chandra Biediger, Mandi Autrey, sister of the groom, Morgan McMillan as maid of honor and Miss Rachel Maaz, cousin of the bride as flower girl. The attendants wore short, pleated satin dresses in olive green and carried bouquets of hand tied white roses, while the flower girl was attired in a white satin gown with an olive green sash and carried a flower ball of white roses. Junior bridesmaids were Jessa and Jenna Roque, nieces of the bride, and Sarah Maaz, cousin of the bride. Jennifer Moran, cousin of the bride served as candle lighter. Groomsmen were, Stephen Pittillo, Heath Pruitt, Josh Boring, Justin Cheatham, and the groom’s brother, Sonny Autrey, as best man. Blake Autrey, cousin of the groom served as ring bearer. Serving as ushers were friends of the bride and groom- Brandon Willis, Matt Ward, and Britt Jones.Coordinator for the wedding was Joyce Mutschink, and Marilyn Kahan shared her special talents on the piano and organ with beautiful renditions of music chosen by the bride and groom. Sound technician was Mr. Art Davis. Following the ceremony an evening of dining and dancing under the stars was enjoyed by all at Tres Lunas Resort with music provided by the Chris Story Band. Following a week long honeymoon in Hawaii the couple is at home in Franklin, Texas. Events prior to the wedding include a couple’s shower hosted by friends in Mason, a couple’s shower hosted by friends in Franklin, and a pool party hosted by the groom’s family in College Station. The day before the wedding a bridal luncheon was hosted by Joyce Masters, Margie Wilson, and Rebekah Maaz, aunts of the bride.
