Tracey “Tre” Nesbit, age 50, of Millersview, went to be reunited with his grandparents and mother in heaven Monday, January 23, 2012, in Stanton, Texas. He was born November 8, 1961, in Winters, Texas, to Billy Ray Nesbit and Oleta Evelyn (Bradshaw) Nesbit. He grew up in Ft. Stockton and Winters. He moved to Evant while in High School which was near his grandmother Laura Smith. He married the love of his life, Amy Garza on August 31, 2001, in Paint Rock. He was a truck driver all of his working life, driving for McCorkle Truck Line since 2003. He had lived in the Brady area since 1996. He enjoyed hunting, the outdoors and music. He loved kids and being with family. He always has a way of making people smile and he always had a joke. He would help anyone at a moment’s notice. He really knew the meaning of the phrase, “live life to the fullest”. He was a Baptist. A memorial service for Tracey “Tre” Nesbit was held the afternoon of January 27th at 3:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Brady with Pastor Ruben Metcalf officiating. The family received friends Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels in Brady. Honorary Pallbearers were Steven Morris, Victor Santoya, Cody Hord, Jesse Bullard, Justin Wagley, Stephen Bradshaw, Paul Stanley, Stetson Nesbit, Lance King, Robert Hernandez, James Morris and Roy Fenwick .Tracey is survived by his wife Amy of the home; father Bill Nesbit and his longtime companion Helga Bonetti of Brady; step-father Ronny Vordick and his wife Kathy of Millersview; daughters Amanda Garza of San Angelo and Alycia Nesbit of Millersview; brother Casey Nesbit and his wife Sue Ann of Robert Lee; step-brothers Ricky Vordick of Killeen, Dale Vordick and Dea Vordick of San Angelo; sister Gina King and husband Raymond of Odessa and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a great host of good friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents John and Laura Nesbit and John and Jesse Bradshaw and his mother Oleta Vordick.
