The Mason Lions club met Tuesday, January 24th, for its regular weekly luncheon meeting. There were 36 members and one visitor in attendance. Lion Kendal Hemphill was responsible for the program and introduced Scott O'Neal who spoke about living up to our potential.Scott gave a very inspirational talk and challenged us to set a good example by the things we do and say, both in the Lions Club, and also in our private life.The club’s next meeting will be held next Tuesday, January 31st, at noon at Zavala’s. The program chairman will be Brent Hinckley.The Mason Lion’s Club has an ongoing program to recycle used eyeglasses to people who need them. Used eyeglasses may be given to any Lion or left in collection boxes at any of the local banks. Also please contact any Mason Lion if you know of anyone in our community unable to afford appropriate eye care.
