Mrs. Travis C. Hofmann nee Marjorie Keyser of Fredericksburg, Texas passed away in the Hill Country Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at the age of 86 years.Marjorie was born June 3, 1925, in Fredericksburg, or Llano Co. to Henry L. and Lenora Frantzen Keyser Sr.Margie married Travis Charles Hofmann on May 10, 1947, in Holy Ghost Church in Fredericksburg.Margie is survived by one daughter, one son & spouses; Phylliss & Warren Ottmers and Scott & Sandy Hofmann all of Cherry Spring. Three grandchildren and spouses: Lane and Emily Ottmers of Cherry Spring, Kylie and Charles Bendele II of Loyal Valley, and Shena and Barkely Parker of Fredericksburg Great grandchildren: Keyser, and Lyna Ottmers, Travis Bendele, and Milana Parker. Brother and spouse: Henry W. and Bernice Keyser of FredericksburgFuneral services were held on Friday, January 27th, at 10:00 A. M. in the Zion Lutheran Church in Fredericksburg, with Rev. Faye Schott officiating.Graveside services and interment followed Friday afternoon at 2:00 P. M. in the Gooch Cemetery in Mason, Texas.Those who so desire may make memorial contributions in her memory to the Zion Lutheran Church, Gillespie County Youth Livestock Show, Hill Country Memorial Hospital, or to the charity of their choice.Visitation for Margie Hofmann was held on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home in Fredericksburg.Pallbearers: Bruce Hofmann, Charles Bierschwale, Brian Bierschwale, Charles Gerhardt, Brent Keyser, and Lester Kothmann.
