NORTH RICHLAND HILLS — Billy J. Hardin, 75, went peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012, surrounded by his family. The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Friday at North Richland Hills Baptist Church. Interment followed at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation was held 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Billy was born July 10, 1936, in Brady to Alford and Lois Hardin. He was a loving husband, father, and Papa. He retired as a Master Sgt. after 24 years in the Army. Billy was a deacon at North Richland Hills Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; and two sisters. Survivors: Wife, Romell Hardin; son, Darren Hardin; daughter-in-law, Monica Godwin and husband, Aaron; and grandchild, Brady Godwin. Mount Olivet Funeral Home 2301 N.
