Most of these coins were made in the early to late 1800s. He passed around several coins like the 1/2 cent, 1/2 dime (not a nickel), 3-cent and 20-cent. He said he trusted all of us to get all his coins back; but, the silver dollars and gold coins he did not pass around! The club’s next meeting will be held next Tuesday, February 7th, at noon at Zavala’s. The program will be the monthly business meeting. The Mason Lion’s Club has an ongoing program to recycle used eyeglasses to people who need them.
