Be a Friend of the Library

Make space in your bookcase and donate your gently used books!The Friends of the Library will hold its annual Book and Bake Sale March 30th and 31st, and April 2nd -4th in the Stribling Room at the Mason County Library. The goal for this year is to immediately replace the $5,000 lost from state funding in order to buy new books. Your used books are wanted for this sale. Donations can be dropped off at Cherokee Rose, 421 Ft McKavitt Street, on Thursdays, Fridays, or Saturdays from 10 to 5. Please put them in a box and label them “FOL Sale.” If you have questions, call Carolyn Phillips at 347-4039. Books may also be brought to the Library on Friday morning, March 30th.If you are a member of The Friends of the Library, you may preview and purchase books between 3 and 6 pm on Friday, March 30th, before the sale opens to the general public. If you have not renewed your membership for this year, or if you would like to become a new member, you can mail your Membership Form to Friends of the Library, PO Box 974, Mason, TX 76856, or drop it by the Library. One hundred percent of the funds raised by the Friends of the Library will go directly to the Library.We hope to make this Book and Bake Sale the biggest and best ever. Your help is needed.
