The Artisan Gallery Celebrating its 2nd Anniversary

The Artisan Gallery is celebrating its 2nd year during the month of March.Each Saturday there will be an Open House from 11AM to 4PM. Refreshments will be served and you may enter a drawing for a weekly door prize. You need not be present to receive the door prize if you win.There will be music each Saturday, and if you have a favorite, you are welcome to visit and enjoy listening to them. The visiting artists of music will be from 1PM to 3PM each Saturday.On March 3 Tommy Burney and Charlie Walton will play and sing. On March 10th, John Beam will play and sing music he has written. On March 17th Brinda Pape will do a demonstration on her spinning wheel. Brinda raises goats for the Angora wool; she shears, cleans, cards, spins and knits the wool into some very beautiful scarves, belts, hats and other pieces that are soft, warm and wonderful to have. On March 24th Nancy Sterling will demonstrate “Massa” painting, it is a technique that can elicit some lovely paintings. On March 31st Nan Loeffler will demonstrate her whimsical handmade jewelry. On March 31st Bettye and Isaura Villanueva will play and sing.It will be interesting and hopefully fun for those who attend and those of us who are celebrating a second year of making our original art available to Mason, surrounding areas and the world!
