Puncher Offense Too Much for Harper in 10-3 Rout
Wednesday, March 21, 2012 • Posted March 21, 2012

The Punchers refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against Harper, recording a 10-3 victory on Wednesday at Harper. With nine runs in the first three innings, Mason left no doubt about the eventual outcome. An RBI double by Chance Stockbridge and in the first inning and a sacrifice fly by Jake Newsom and in the second inning fueled the Puncher offense early. Stockbridge racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Punchers. Bodie Adams baffled Harper, striking out eight batters. Adams allowed two earned runs, three hits and five walks over seven innings.
