Hilda UMC Sunrise Service
Wednesday, April 4, 2012 • Posted April 4, 2012

As the sun rises Easter morning to illuminate the Texas Hill Country, we would like to invite everyone to worship the Risen Christ with us at Hilda United Methodist Church. Our sunrise service will be held at approximately 7:00 a.m. on the hill overlooking the church in front of the John Brandenberger home on Ranch Road 783.The beauty of God’s creation among the wildflowers, singing birds, and cool Easter breeze is the perfect setting to give honor and praise to the Lord. The Hilda choir and David Lively, and Erin Brown will provide the music for the service and Rev. Wade Powell will preach the Good News of Jesus Christ. Dress is very casual. Following the service, a breakfast will be provided at the Hilda Community Clubhouse. In addition to the sunrise service, we will hold a traditional service in the sanctuary at 11:00 a.m. There will be an Easter egg hunt following the traditional service. To get to Hilda United Methodist Church from Mason, take Highway 87 South toward Fredericksburg approximately ten miles. Turn right onto Ranch Road 783 and continue about four miles. Turn left onto Loeffler Lane. The church will be just ahead.
