FREDERICKSBURG (MARCH 22, 2012) – International best-practices HVAC contractor organization AirTime500 named 72 Degrees Heating & Air Conditioning its Service Company of the Year and Business Professional Company of the Year for 2011 at its recent Expo in New Orleans. Only the top one percent of heating and cooling contractors are members of AirTime 500. Each year the organization evaluates its membership to identify and recognize the very best of the best based upon a strict list of criteria. Of the five awards given for performance in 2011, 72 Degrees was the big winner with two; it is only the fourth company to be bestowed with multiple awards in the same year.“(Owners) Brad and Jennifer are tremendous contractors. They epitomize what is best about small business in this country: They provide their clients with world-class customer service backed by industry-leading guarantees, and they offer a top-of-the-line working environment, in addition to great benefits and pay for their employees. Brad and Jennifer manage to do both while growing their business successfully,” Vice President of AirTime 500 Paul Riddle said. “They’re truly a model company.”AirTime 500’s Service Company of the Year is presented to the company that best demonstrates a commitment to customer service, employee technical and communications training, and financial success in its service division.AirTime 500’s Business Professional of the Year award is the organization’s highest honor. It recognizes the company with the very best business practices, clarity and efficiency within its day-to-day operations, a detailed and aggressive business plan, financial success in all divisions of the company, and the highest customer service scores in the industry.72 Degrees Heating & Air Conditioning won the Market Dominance Company of the Year award in 2008 and 2009. That honor is given to the contractor with the best awareness of its company and brand within its marketplace. “Very few companies have won multiple Company of the Year awards in our organization; even fewer have won in so many different categories,” Riddle continued. “I think it shows the commitment Brad and Jennifer have to running a well-rounded business. They’re successful in all facets, and it shows when we do our analysis for award winners each year.” For their achievements, 72 Degrees received two trophies recognizing their accomplishments as well as a ceremony distinguishing their exemplary work during the New Orleans Expo with over 1,000 fellow member contractors in attendance.“Brad and I were absolutely thrilled when we heard our names announced,” Jennifer said. “We have worked many hours to refine our business to not only be financially successful, but to provide the best services for our clients and the best opportunities for our employees. I think we’ve done a good job of doing each of those things and have created a solid culture in and around 72 Degrees; that’s what’s most important, although the recognition is nice!”The Home Services Hall of Fame was created by AirTime 500’s parent company Success Group International to recognize contractors that, through their commitment to superiority, stand apart from the rest of the industry.
