Wednesday, April 4, 2012 • Posted April 4, 2012

Center Point and Mason volleyed the lead five times on Saturday, but Center Point came out on top for a 5-4 win on Saturday at Center Point. Center Point finally managed to grab the lead after a strong sixth inning. Bodie Adams had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. Adams tripled in the second inning and doubled in the sixth inning. L Ramirez helped Center Point pull ahead for the duration in the sixth inning. The top of the first saw Varsity 2012 take an early lead, 1-0. Miguel Castillo singled to ignite Mason’s offense. A stolen base then moved Castillo from first to second. Austin Trip doubled, scoring Castillo. The Puncher’s battled tough, but in the end couldn’t come out victorious. The Puncher’s are now in a three way tie for first place with Johnson City and Center Point. Johnson City comes to visit the Punchers this Friday at 4:30 p.m. This is a huge game, and by far the biggest of the season. Please come out and support the Punchers
